I recently completed my MBA. The program was probably much like other night school programs, but it was my first formal business training. So I liked it. I had taken an interest in the stock market and decided to obtain the MBA as a way to transition out of my construction and project management job into a financial analyst role. I had a friend who worked on the street, and he inspired me to pursue it formally.
And pursue I did.
And now here I am.
Still working as a project manager for the forseeable future. Looking for a way to further my financial education.
And this is where I will do it.
Early on in my informal education on the stock market, I discovered Technical Analysis. Very quickly, this is the studying of patterns in the stock price charts. Business school is not a place to further one’s education in technical analysis. They teach fundamental analysis, which certianly has its place. But, I still want to learn about technical analysis. Therefore, I’m going to read and post and hopefully find some truth in the stock charts.
There are other markets in the world than the stock market. We have a bond market. We have a mortgage market. We have currency markets. There are too many to name. I’m going to try and learn a little about all of them. Just enough to be dangerous.
And I’ll post here what I’m learning about.
One thing to keep in mind is that I’m as much of a novice at building a website as I am at analyzing financial markets.
