Bloomberg – $1 Trillion stimulus

December 21, 2008 by: Chris

Here is a video talking about the potential stimulus package that will be proposed by Barack Obama once he is sworn into the presidency.  They discuss several areas which might benefit from the plan which could reach to the $1 trillion dollar mark.

  • Roads
  • Bridges
  • Trains
  • Broadband

They also talk about a similar plan that Bill Clinton proposed -- $16.3 billion -- POCKET CHANGE.  This was blocked by republicans as “all pork”.  Sure enough, some of the projects that the money went to back then were upgrades to golf courses and tennis courts (from the video, not separately investigated).
